To render pork fat, begin by cutting the fat into small pieces. Place the fat in a heavy-bottomed pot over low heat, allowing it to slowly melt. Stir occasionally until the fat has liquefied and the solids have turned golden brown. Strain the liquid fat into a clean container for storage.
